We haven't heard from 'The Huntsman: Winter's War' for a long time, the new original sequel to 'Snow White and the Huntsman' that Universal is producing. Nevertheless the new posters have recently been shown Jessica Chastain as The Warrior, Emily Blunt as the Ice Queen, Chris Hemsworth as Hunter and Charlize Theron as the Evil Queen.
In addition to being able to see their protagonists characterized in their respective roles, we have also been able to discover that the name of the film will be accompanied by a subtitle: 'Winter's war'. As has been known for a long time, this sequel will not feature Kristen Stewart as Snow WhiteHowever, Charlize Theron will appear in her role as Queen Ravenna and Hemsworth as the Hunter. The actress from 'The Big Shoe' or 'American Ultra' was going to appear, however, the film ended up becoming a spin-off centered on the figure of the Hunter due to the scandal caused by Kristen Stewart's infidelity towards Robert Pattinson with director Rupert Sanders. First it was confirmed that Sanders would not direct the film, later Universal finally decided to get rid of Kristen Stewart as Snow White.
The movie is then directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan. Recall that the previous feature film managed to raise more than 396 million dollars worldwide. Will this movie be as successful as the first now that Kristen Stewart is no longer cast? We will have to wait for next year.
'The Huntsman: Winter's War' will premiere on April 22th 2016.
