The official synopsis of the film is as follows:
Ryu (Rinko Kikuchi) looks like a girl like the others. If anything, his appearance is more fragile and his look sadder. The explanation could lie in the fact that he leads a double life. On the one hand, she is a night worker at a Tokyo fish market, a very hard job that has nothing to do with her other occupation: mercenary. That's right: Ryu is also a hit man.
Ryu's next target is David (Sergi López), a Spanish-born vintner who has located his company in Tokyo. David is apparently the culprit in the suicide of Midori, the daughter of a prominent Japanese businessman, Mr. Nagara (Takeo Nakahara). One of Nagara's employees, Ishida (Hideo Sakaki), who was madly and secretly in love with Midori, will pay Ryu whatever it takes to assassinate David.
After this story, a viewer follows the events. It is about a sound engineer who is obsessed with the sounds produced by the city of Tokyo and, at the same time, with the figure of Ryu.
