Pixies surprise release 'EP2' with four unreleased tracks

Last Friday (3) the American group Pixies released a new four-song mini-album work under the name of 'EP2', released less than half a year after the Boston group's last release (EP1). These new songs were produced by Gil Norton and recorded in October 2012 at Rockfield Studios in Wales (UK).

'EP2' contains the singles: 'Blue-Eyed Hexe', 'Magdalena', 'Greens and blues' and 'Snakes', and they are already available as exclusive on the official website of the band for digital download in "lossless" (flac) format. Also included is the sale of a limited edition 10-inch vinyl. This vinyl version will have a limited version of 4 thousand copies and will go on sale at a price of 55 euros, it is also accompanied by a download code for the digital version and a gift is accompanied by a sweatshirt.

During 2014, the Pixies are scheduled to offer more than thirty-three concerts in America and Europe, and will be the main figures of festivals such as the Lollapalooza from Argentina and Brazil and Primavera Sound from Barcelona. The novelty in their line-up has been the incorporation of the new Argentine bassist, Paz Lenchantin, who replaces the historic Kim Deal and the recent Kim Shattuck, who was fired in November, just a few months after her incorporation.
