Samson went further and announced that the album will be named 'The Endless River' and that it would go on sale in October this year. In the Twitter message, Gilmour's partner also pointed out that the new Pink Floyd album will be "Based on the 1994 sessions of Rick Wright's last beautiful appearance".

Polly Samson's previews were also joined by a photo published by Durga McBroom-Hudson, a backup singer who appeared on previous Pink Floyd albums, in which she appears with two other singers and with David Gilmour in a recording studio. These new songs would have been composed by Gilmour with Nick Mason, adding collaborations from Rick Wright, who passed away in September 2008.
