Phil Selway Offers Details On Upcoming Radiohead Album

Radiohead

Several months ago it was confirmed that the members of Radiohead they had started working on new songs that would make up their next album. In recent days, Phil Selway, drummer of the group, revealed more details about the successor of The King of Limbs (2011), pointing out that the group is maintaining a good work rhythm, that everything is going very well, but they still do not know when all work will be completed.

In the recent interview Phil Selway detailed: “It is going very well. We have worked all fall until just before Christmas, and now we are taking time out for other projects. We will continue recording more songs in March and then we will do a general evaluation to see how we are with the whole project. We are really quite excited about what we have been up to now. The project is by no means finished, so we still have a long way to go. However, the latter has been a very productive time for all of us. "

When Selway was asked the release date of the new album, the drummer explained: "I wouldn't want to start predicting something like that on Radiohead's schedule, because you might find yourself six months later saying 'I wish I hadn't mentioned that'". It is to be remembered that, last November, Jonny Greenwood commented that the new work will have different approaches: "We are currently playing and recording and it's fun to see everyone again, it's been a long time and we've been waiting to get together for years.".
