Last Tuesday (13) it was released on YouTube and Yahoo! the video for Shine, the new song performed by Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani. The theme is part of the soundtrack of the movie Paddington, an animated film that has been released around the world in recent days. The popular star duo have returned to work together both on and off the recording room, as they are currently fellow jurors on the seventh edition of The Voice USA.
Pharrell and Gwen first worked together in 2001, with No Doubt songs like Hella Good, followed later by Hollaback Girl, Can I Have It Like That? and recently for Stefani's solo album Sweet Escape, featuring the single Spark the Fire.
This successful collaboration of this star duo was found again in 2015 with the single Shine, a theme included in the film. Paddington, film adaptation of the famous British short story A Bear Named Paddington, an endearing childhood character created by writer Michael Bond in the 50s. In a press release, Pharrell Williams defined the new film: "As a father, it was a great satisfaction and also an opportunity to collaborate on a classic as authentic and dear to all of us as Paddington the bear".
