The recently closed Toronto Film Festival 2009 It has not stood out too much but who has done it, as in the rest of the Festivals where it has passed (Sudance, Cannes Festival, etc.) has been the Precious movie by Lee Daniels, based on the novel Push and which is already sounding like a clear candidate for the next Oscars.

This film will be distributed in Spain by Filmax but there is still no release date.

- Best film in the “Discovery” section: The Man Beyond the Bridge by Laxmikant Shetgaonkar (India).

- Best film in the “Special Presentations” section: Hadewijch by Bruno Dumont (France).
