BFI London Film Festival honors

The award-winning films of the BFI London Film Festival, a contest that took place from October 9 to 20 in the British capital.

The winner of the award for best film was the co-production between Poland and Denmark «going»By Pawel Pawlikowski.

Also noteworthy is the award for best first film that has been for the film by Anthony Chen «ilo, ilo", ribbon representing Singapore this year in the category of best foreign language film at the Oscars.

Best Film Award: "Ida" by Pawel Pawlikowski
Sutherland Award for Best First Work: "Ilo, Ilo" by Anthony Chen
Grierson Award for Best Documentary: "My Father, My Mother and Me" by Paul-Julien Robert
British Revelation: Jonathan Asser writer of David Mackenzie's "Starred Up"
Special Mention (British Revelation): Conner Chapman and Shaun Thomas for their performances in Clio Barnard's "The Selfish Giant"
