The rock band U2 has been awarded in the Palm Springs Festival for the song "Ordinary Love" from the film "Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom."
This famous music group is made with the Sonny Bono Visionary Award, an award normally awarded to a visionary director, although on this occasion the Palm Springs Festival organization wanted to honor a visionary musical group.
The award will be presented on February 4 to the band for the theme of the tape «Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom«, Which has already earned them the Golden Globe nomination for best song,«Ordinary Love«.
