«Corn island"To George Ovashvili has been the great winner of the 49th edition of the Karlovy Vary Festival by winning the Crystal globe.
The Georgian film also wins the Ecumenical Jury Prize.
The other great winner of this new edition of the Czech contest has been «Free Fall"To Gyorgy Palfi, a film that has won the Special Jury Prize, the Best Director Award and the Europa Cinemas Label Award.
Also note that «Rocks in my Pockets"To Signe baumane, the first animated film to participate in the official section of the Karlovy Vary Festival, it has won two recognitions, the Fipresci Prize and a Special Mention from the Ecumenical jury.
