Marilyn Manson was born Brian Hugh Warner on January 5, 1969 and besides singer, has done work as an actor, writer, painter and film director. His stage name was formed from the names of actress Marilyn Monroe and convict Charles Manson.
Manson has also been certified by the IFPI as one of the 100 most successful artists of all time and holds a position among the 5 most successful Industrial Metal artists, certifying 50 million records sold worldwide.
