Pablo Berger's 'Snow White' continues to be successful. And it is that the film starring Maribel Verdú, Daniel Giménez Cacho, Pere Ponce, Macarena García, Ángela Molina and Inma Cuesta, leaves no one indifferent.

This original take on the popular Brothers Grimm tale, is set in the 20s in southern Spain and it has two peculiarities, it is shot in black and white and it is silent, very much in the style of the years it deals with.

The plot of the film revolves around Snow White, who here is Carmen (Macarena García), a beautiful young woman with a childhood haunted by her terrible stepmother, Encarna (Maribel Verdú). Running from her past, Carmen, She will embark on an exciting journey accompanied by her new friends: a troupe of Dwarf Bullfighters. With an unexpected and surprising ending, the film will reveal to us that “life is not like in stories”, but like in a gothic melodrama.
