After surprising everyone during his time at the Sundance Festival, and later in Spain at the Sitges Festival, with his debut film "Another Earth", Mike Cahill returns with another science fiction film with a philosophical background, "I Origins."
The director has again Brit Marling, scriptwriter and star of "Another Earth" who won the award for best actress at the Sitges Film Festival in 2011, although this time only in acting work.
Although the main character of this new Mike Cahill film is Michael Pitt, whom we have seen in films such as "Dreamers" by Bernardo Bertolucci, in "Last Days" by Gus Van Sant and as one of the protagonists of the television series produced by Martin Scorsese "Boardwalk Empire".
«I Origins»Tells the story of a doctor about to make a surprising discovery, although to do so he must travel to India to find a young woman who can confirm his theories.
An independent film by science fiction in line with his previous work that will hit US cinemas in July of this year, after having been present once again at Sundance, and which we hope will end up landing on the Spanish billboard sooner or later.
