As i know announced in a previous news story, the ex-drummer of Nirvana and current singer of the foo Fighters, Dave Grohl, collaborated on the topic “Running with the Wolves”, Title belonging to the last album of The Prodigy, Invaders Must Die.
Well, since then the rumor has started to spread that this collaboration was made only for the purpose of advertising this new album.
Liam howlett, a leading member of this English electronic music band, has come out to speak about it.
"He sent me some drum solos on a hard drive, hoping they would inspire me to make a song. It is good to hear him play the drums without the presence of the other instruments… few can say that they have.
Listening to the first ten seconds were enough: 'run with the wolves' was born.
At no point did we do this to promote ourselves as The Prodigy & Dave Grohl. He's just a good friend who plays on one of our songs… we've known him for a long time… we don't wake up one day thinking 'we're going to call him to collaborate on our album'…"He explained.
Invaders Must Die reaches the market on 23 February, a week after his single titled “Omen".
