What's New From Springsteen: “Chapter and Verse”

The old rockers never die. The Boss is back, stronger than ever and with renewed illusions. Springsteen is preparing an 18-song album to accompany his autobiography, due out in September.

He announced it today on his Twitter account. The title of his next autobiography will be "Born to Run", and will be accompanied by his new album, "Chapter and Verse«, Which will go on sale on September 23, four days before the publication of his book.

This new compilation will have 18 songs (five of them unpublished) that will take a tour of the singer's musical career, as the artist points out on his own website. It will begin with two unpublished selections from his 1966 album "The Castiles" featuring Springsteen's younger voice, and will end with beautiful melodies from "Wrecking Ball," his last album released in 2012.

The unpublished topics included in the work include as attractive the presence of musicians who later became part of The E Street Band, his already mythical band.

Chapter and Verse can be ordered in advance starting tomorrow, Friday. In addition, it will be available in streaming or by downloading from its website, the album contains the lyrics of the songs and unpublished photos.

Recall that Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band are currently touring Europe, and they will close their tour in the United States on September 14.

Springsteen's musical career has been recognized with multiple accolades, including 20 Grammys, two Golden Globes and an Oscar. In 1999 he entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and in 2004 Rolling Stone magazine ranked him 23 of the best artists of all time.
