With Iwrestledabearonce's latest release 'Hail Mary' getting closer and closer, the metal band has just revealed a new track from their new album, 'Wade in the water', demonstrating with this second premiere that the band returns darker and tougher than ever. It was last April 11 that he brought you his first single, 'Erase it all', shouting to heaven for the total absence of that silly-melodic touch - spoken from admiration, although it may not seem like it - so characteristic that Iwrestledabearonce have maintained since its inception.
'Erase it all' has been one of those songs that, even criticizing it loudly, end up sticking to the point of absolute addiction. But deep down, many IWABO fans hoped that the premiere of this new song that the band itself had been announcing from its Facebook page would bring us something, even a little, of the iwrestledabearonce always ... but it has not been like that.
Does this mean that 'Wade in the water' is bad? Not at all! This second theme of 'Hail Mary' confirms the wilder and darker side of Iwrestledabearonce. Courtney's roars are really amazing but seriously, the melodic touch is missed. Here I will be cruel again and I will repeat that, with this change, the band will save all those destructive criticisms about how short Courtney always stayed in the live shows when singing.
