Primal Scream to publish new album in 2013, the tenth of his career and after five years of silence (his last album to date was the disappointing "Beautiful Future").
Announced it Bobby Gillespie in a conversation with Q magazine in which he described the future album as sophisticated in production and arrangements.
It's a rock'n'roll record, but modern rock'n'roll. Very psychedelic rock, driven by guitars, but with guitars that sound in a very orchestral way, not the way they sound on most rock records. The songs are better. Live we are clearly a rock band, but when we make records… it would be very boring to just make guitar records, we have our own way of doing things. It is the music of Primal Scream.
Remember that Primal Scream has signed the bassist of My Bloody Valentine Debbie Googe to tour with the band, now that Mani is fully occupied with the return of The Stone Roses.
