New Order recording new album

new order

The British New Order will release a new album this year, the first to be released since the group's founding bassist Peter Hook left the group in 2007. In an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the group commented that they have already finished recording two songs, "Plastic" and "Restless", and possibly the work will be ready to be heard next fall. This is the first album since they released 'Waiting For The Siren's Call' in 2005.

The members of the band have affirmed that this is a good time to compose, because “outside it rains, it is cold, it is humid and it is dark”, something that can give a clue as to what this new work will sound like. In 2013 they released a new 8-song album titled 'The lost sirens', in which the songs were written at the same time as those they released in 2005 on the album' Waiting for the Sirens 'Call'.

New Order is a British rock group formed in 1980. Currently it is made up of Bernard Sumner, Stephen Morris, Gillian Gilbert, Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman. It was formed in 1980 by Sumner (vocals, guitars, keyboard and synthesizer), Peter Hook (bass and vocals) and Morris (drums, electronic drums and synthesizers) - the remaining members of the Joy Division at the suicide of their leader and vocalist Ian Curtis- with the addition of Gilbert (keyboard, synth, and guitar).
