In "Beautiful creatures" we will meet Ethan Wate, a 17-year-old who has been having the same recurring dream for months- A mysterious young woman awaits you on a Civil War battlefield. Ethan desperately wants to be with her, but there is an unknown danger and, in every dream, lightning always strikes from the sky and kills Ethan before it reaches the girl. Still, the dangers of this strange dream world are preferable to Ethan's bland existence while awake in the town of Gatlin, South Carolina, a small conservative southern town where nothing ever happens. Ethan is about to see his mundane existence turned upside down with the arrival of Lena Duchannes, the beautiful and enigmatic niece of the owner of the gothic Ravenwood mansion. But a story of family secrets and a curse hang over Lena.

A story that entertains and is seen, but that is quickly forgotten. The worst, without a doubt, the soundtrack. The best that the central couple works quite well and the participation of Jeremy Irons or Emma Thompson. There will be a second part.
