With the Marvel purchase still fluttering through the air, 20th Century Fox announced a few days ago its intention to completely forget the two fantastic 4 films and restart the saga from scratch.
To reaffirm this new course, Fox decided to lower Jessica Alba's thumb for this new installment marveliana, with what the return of the rest of the cast is further complicated: Ioan Gruffudd, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis.
For now, Akiva Goldsman will be one of the producers of the film, while the script will fall on the shoulders of Michael Green, who has already worked on superhero series, such as Smallville and Heroes.
Regarding the director and technical team, Fox does not have much desire to rehire the services of the previous films, so we believe that filmmaker Tim Story is most likely left out of the project.
The new Fantastic Four adventure is dated premiere for 2011.
