New adaptation of the video game Mortal Kombat to the cinema?

If lovers of fighting video games "one & one" are tired of seeing how the film adaptations of video games, which are legends such as Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat or Tekken, are pure rubbish, I discover that Hollywood dollars are studying bring the Mortal Kombat video game back to the movies and, if it works at the box office, turn it into a new franchise.

Mortal Kombat, The Movie It was released in 1995 and happens to be the best adaptation of a video game to the cinema -how will the others be- for a coherent and intelligent plot, a fairly high rate of action, a good cast, good special effects and a great soundtrack.

In 1997 the second part of Mortal Kombat with the Annihilation subtitle but it didn't work out well and Hollywood forgot to make more movies, until now.
