Neil Aspinall, the 'fifth Beatle', has died

They say it was the fifth beatle and we will have to believe it: yesterday he died Neil aspinall, a friend of Beatles since childhood and former boss of his record company Apple Corps.

Aspinall was 66 years old and suffered from cancer.
And although the nickname of 'fifth Beatle' also belongs to producer George Martin, in truth he was the closest to the band.

As a friend, Aspinall went on to act as a driver, then a representative and finally a confidant of the group until 1968, when he became the founder of Apple Corps, a company he led until last year. RIP.
