From now on, I will try to advise you on which movies you should see at the cinema each month.

I advise you, then you, of course, do what you want.

This September there are no big blockbusters but there are small and very interesting movies.

- frozen river (September 3): This film is a little gem and the performance of its lead actress earned her an Oscar nomination and the award for best performance at the San Sebastian Festival.

The problem of illegal immigration via Canada USA across a frozen river.

- Infected (September 11): I think this film is going to sweep because it deals with a very topical issue: humanity stalked by a deadly virus. The protagonists of this story, two young brothers with their respective partners, trying to flee by car to a refuge on a beach in the Gulf of Mexico. As a curiosity, it should be noted that this film has been directed by two Spanish brothers, Álex and David Pastor, who managed to win the award for the best short film in Sudance with larutanatural in 2006.

- District 9 (September 18): another example of a low-budget film that, thanks to viral advertising on the Internet, manages to be a box office success. This Science Fiction movie where some aliens in a kind of ghetto end up facing off against humans. A very original idea.

- The Secret in Their Eyes (September 25): this co-production between Argentina and Spain is being a box office success in our neighboring country, in terms of language, where it has been No. 1 for two weeks and has grossed 1,5 million euros. This work reunites director Juan José Campanella and actor Ricardo Darín after the international success of El hijo de la novia.
