Faith No More has just released a new song titled “motherfucker”, On what is the first single from their eighth album, to be released in April 2015. It is the group's first studio album since 1997's 'Album of the Year'. The album will be produced by the band's bassist Bill Gould and was recorded in the band's rehearsal room. It will be released on his own label, Reclamation Records. It is good to point out that "Motherfuker" will have a vinyl edition on November 28 and only 5 copies will be sold. Side B will have a JG Thirlwell remix.

Faith No More is a funk metal band formed in San Francisco, California, in 1982. During their career, both in the studio and in their presentations, the band has played numerous artists, including Black Sabbath, John Barry, The Commodores, Bee Gees, Burt Bacharach, Take That, Dead Kennedys, Al Martino, GG Allin, Portishead, Vanilla Ice, Public Enemy, Violeta Parra, The Cranberries, Sparks, Michael Jackson, among others. With only 6 official albums, they have managed to sell around 20 million copies in the world.

Faith No More's musical influences include artists from various musical genres, including Frank Zappa, Parliament, Doe, 41 Killing Joke, The Residents, Brian Eno, Burt Bacharach, Black Sabbath or Dead Kennedys.
