We started the month of August with more leaks and more Madonna. This time we follow the same steps as last Monday, with a video belonging to discarded shots of another of the most liked videos of the Queen of Pop. On Monday we started with 'Vogue' and its 29 minutes of images that had never seen the light, making the pleasures of many fans. Now, for the weekend, it was the turn of 'Rain'.
'Rain' It was the video clip with which Madonna seemed to make a parenthesis in all that sexual aesthetics that was brought in her album 'Erotica' and the highly criticized book 'Sex'. Suddenly Madonna put away the whip and surprised her followers with a sweet and elegant video clip with which she managed to win the MTV awards belonging to the categories of Best Art Direction and Best Cinematography in 1993. The video clip for 'Rain' was directed by Mark Romanek.
Now, more than 20 years later, we can see some of those discarded shots, with many close-ups of Madonna and with more images of the musician Ryuichi Sakamoto, who played the director within the video clip. For some, this video will only be almost 40 minutes of the same thing. For others it will be a real gem to keep in the rarities archive.
