The film tells the true story of Billy beane, the general director of the Oakland Athletics, who ventured into the most advanced technology to optimize the performance of his team and manage to stay in the first places despite having a much lower budget than his rivals.
The movie was directed by Bennett miller (Capote) with a screenplay adapted from Aaron Sorkin (The Social Network) and Steven Zaillian (Schindler's List). The premiere will be on September 23.
