Miss Kittin, the electroclash icon returns with 'Calling from the Stars'

The provocative and influential lady of techno, Miss Kittin, has returned in recent weeks to the musical arena with the recent release of his third studio work-solo-, 'Calling from the Stars' (Calling from the stars), a double album produced by herself. Last year he made small inroads collaborating with Oxia and Kris Menace, and finally edited his own material, recently previewing the singles 'Life is My Teacher' and 'Bassline', both included from this new album.

Released on April 19 by the French label wSphere, 'Calling From The Stars' is a record material presented as a double CD and quadruple LPs on vinyl, containing no less than 23 new songs, including a cover version of the classic 'Everybody Hurts' by REM.

The new work brings together all the elements they have made of Miss Kittin one of the most popular characters on the electronic music scene in the last decade, keeping his lyrics simple but evocative, marked by an undeniable techno rhythm and wrapped in his personal electro touch. Regarding this new work Miss Kittin assured: "Although this is a double album with a completely electronic part, it is necessary to listen to it in full to understand it conceptually".
