Miranda! and the singer Loli molina were the first winners of the MTV Latin America Awards, in a ceremony held last night.
Miranda! won for Best Southern Artist -which he had already won in 2007- and Loli molina as Best New Artist.

The main awards ceremony will take place on October 15 at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles: it will be hosted by René Pérez, of Calle 13, and Nelly Furtado.
