Director Mark Waters is preparing the romantic comedy «The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past«, Which will star Matthew McConaughey alongside an all-star cast: Breckin Meyer, Anne Arche, Jenniger Garner and the newest addition, Michael Douglas.
McConaughey is a womanizer who has a brother who is getting married, and memories of his girlfriends and ghosts from the past come to mind. Michael Douglas will be a playboy uncle of the now deceased protagonist, who appears to him in the form of a ghost.
The main character of the film was going to play him Ben Affleck, but was replaced by McConaughey, of whom the director stated that 'there is something special about him, he looks like a womanizer, but at the same time confining, he fits the role perfectly«.
"The Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" begins filming on February 19 in Boston and is will premiere next year.
