The Catalan filmmaker Albert serra has won the Golden Leopard for best film at the prestigious Locarno Film Festival with his new work «History of the meva mort«.
It is the first time that a Spanish title, in this case in co-production with France, has been made with the Golden Leopard, in what is the oldest European event after Cannes and Venice.

The awards for the interpretive sections went to the actress B «Short term 12» by Destin Cretton and the Peruvian actor Fernando Bacilio for "El mudo" by Daniel and Diego Vega.
Finally, the Audience Award went to the Canadian film «Gabrielle»By Louise Archambault.
