It is one of the flagship films of our cinema, and now, the author of "Strawberry and Chocolate" has decided to revisit it. Ne is a remake, but a tribute.

Juan Carlos Tabio, the Cuban director, has met in "The horn of plenty" to the cast of his famous "Strawberry and Chocolate", to pay tribute to Berlanga's cinema.

His new work is a choral tale of today's Cuba, a portrait of a time and a country, which, as he acknowledges, is a kind of nod to the Valencian genius:

"The Spain of the pre-Marshall era has many points of contact with the Cuba of today, there is a tribute and a direct nod"

Jorge Perugorría, Vladimir Cruz and Mirtha Ibarra They return to work with Tabío in a film that tells a story of inheritances, dimes, diretes and above all, rogues.

The argument is just an excuse to tell the wishes and pleas of a country that continues to have a bad time, and that aspires to be able to fulfill all its dreams.

"Art is polysemic, there is no one-way discourse, in the film there are direct references to today's Cuba", it is a universe within a small town. The spiritual life is based on very real things and you cannot achieve spiritual happiness when your house is falling down or you do not have a plate of rice and beans to eat.

"The horn of plenty", It will be released next week in Spain.
