Major Lazer Releases Extended Version Of "Peace Is The Mission"

Major Lazer

When last September the video clip of 'Too Original' was released, voices were already beginning to be heard that Major Lazer were working on a new album of which the title was already known, 'Music Is The Weapon', and of which even some of the collaborations with which it would have been named, such as Travi $ Scott, The Weeknd and Sia among others.

For those of you who have come here reading only "Major Lazer throws ..." and you have rubbed your hands - as I have done - thinking that that premiere was coming, sorry, we still have to keep waiting for 'Music Is The Weapon'. But don't drop to the ground crying just yet, because this 'Peace Is The Mission Extended' that Major Lazer released this weekend has five unreleased tracks that will surely make the wait for the next album a little more bearable. You can listen to one of the unreleased songs at the end of this post.

Of these advertised "Five unpublished songs", if we get fussy you could say that there are only three, since the fourth is a song already presented this past summer and the fifth is a remix, unpublished, but a remix. The unreleased tracks on 'Peace Is The Mission Extended' are 'Boom' (ft. Ty Dolla $ ign, MOTi, Wizkid & Kranium), 'Wave' (ft. Kali Uchis) and 'Thunder and Lightning'. The next song is 'Lost', the version of Frank Ocean that he did with M0 this summer and that Diplo shared as a free download for all fans. The unreleased remix belongs to the song 'Light It Up' (ft. NYLA & Fuse ODG).
