Here we have the trailer for «Life in a Day«, Called the first social documentary, thanks to more than 80.000 videos posted by people around the world to YouTube. It is a 90 minute project directed by Kevin Macdonald (The Last King of Scotland) and produced by Ridley Scott (Blade Runner, Aliens).
The project consisted of sending videos of what happened one day, June 24, 2010, by users from anywhere in the world. 80.000 videos were received from more than 192 countries, totaling 4.500 hours of footage, and from there the final 90 minutes remained.
«Life in a Day» It premiered at the Sundance Festival in January of this year and in theaters in the US will arrive on July 24, although the film could be seen on YouTube.
