Led Zeppelin: Would They Succeed Without Robert Plant?

Led Zeppelin

The concert that brought together again Led Zeppelin last year was not the end of the road for Jimmy Page, Jason bonham y John Paul Jones, but apparently it was for Robert Plant.
The three remaining members have been busy lately rehearsing with -among others- Steven Tyler (It is said that it did not turn out very well) and Myles Kennedy (who has already done some 'covers' of his songs on stage and has a very high vocal register).

Faced with so much speculation in days gone by, Page has wanted to make things clear this time: "Whatever we do will no longer be like Led Zeppelin ... not without the presence of Robert Plant".
Jones added: "We want to do something, but Plant doesn't want to know anything for the moment. You don't want to make loud music again. We do".

Now without Plant or without the name of Led Zeppelin, the commercial scope of this project is somewhat in doubt, as a representative linked to live shows says: “With the presence of Robert Plant, this would be as successful as we can imagine. Without him I wouldn't be so sure".

Therefore, this imminent return to the stage without the 'frontman'original, Will it be a mistake?
