One of the most relevant launches that the celebration of the Record Store Day (Day of record stores) that will take place next weekend (Saturday 19), will undoubtedly be the edition of the box-set of 5 vinyls under the name of 'The Last Goodbye' and that will contain the songs they performed in the last presentation made by LCD Soundsystem three years ago.
This impressive collection of that legendary presentation is a record document of the documentary of that epic concert 'Shut Up and Play The Hits', which filmed the farewell show of the LCD Soundsystem held at Madison Square Garden in New York on Sunday, April 2, 2011.
The 'The Last Goodbye' presents 3 whole hours of that farewell concert, all the songs mixed and produced exclusively by the leader of the group, James Murphy, especially for this release. The fans of the group and collectors will surely have a fight to get this collection in their hands that for many fans will be worth owning. On the occasion of the anniversary of that last concert, the group also presented an interactive exhibition at the Rough Trade record store in New York earlier this April. The exhibition shows the sounds, moments and emotions of the four hours of the farewell concert.
