Kung Fu, from television to cinema

Kung Fu

Taking movies out of the trunk of memories and making remakes is a growing trend that we are seeing, especially during this year, where several eighties film productions have been announced. Now it comes to a television series from the late 70s which will have its echo on the big screen, Kung Fu.

The mythical series starring the actor David Carradine It will have its film adaptation, although it must be said that it is not a pioneering idea because there have already been remakes for television in tv-movie format

Its director will be Baz Luhrmann, who surprises with his change of register after having worked in films of such interpretative weight as Romeo and Juliet, Moulin Rouge or The Great Gatsby among others, although we hope that the protagonist of this new Kung Fu installment will not accompany a plot full of love, idylls, disappointments and all those things; surely not, because it would break with the essence of what this series really was.

In the series we met Kwai Chang Caine, a Shaolin monk who walked all over the Western United States in search of his brother and now in the film, it is said that the new story is that Caine could travel to China to search for his father , but at the moment only sun rumors.

More information - David Carradine did not commit suicide
