The American press has just announced that the group Korn will release an extended version of their latest album, 'The Paradigm Shift', during this summer. This special version will contain the two unreleased songs that had been previously recorded during the sessions of this album, but that were not finally included in the final cut of the album. The new songs are 'Hater' and the second song is named after 'Hercules', a song was initially composed for a soundtrack of a film that is still unknown.
This extended version of the album will also include live tracks from 'From all over the world' and will be released with different cover art than the original version. The single 'Hater' was released for radio promotion on June 19 and has been available for digital download earlier this week. The physical edition of 'Hater' will be released on July 1. This song was partly recorded in Bakersfield (California, USA) with the rest of the album's songs and was produced by Don Gilmore.
Jonathan Davis, leader of Korn stated about the single 'Hater': “I think we all have someone who envies or hates us, because we have something that the other would like to have. Everyone who has heard the song has liked it, and some have even recognized themselves in its lyrics. I think haters are just looking for a way to get attention and to try to forget about the futility of their lives. We are talking about people who spend all day in front of a computer and showing their hatred is the only way they have to show that they exist ".
