Kiss: New album for 2009?

Paul Stanley

Ross Halfin, a well-known photographer linked to the world of music, has published the following on his personal page:
"I had breakfast with Paul Stanley. He told me that it is very likely that they would record a new album, the production of which would be in his charge. It would be an album that would bring back that sound from the '70s ... of course, if Paul can stop painting for a while, which is what he is now completely dedicated to.".

This ad is something that contrasts enormously with the declarations that they made in the middle of the year so much Paul Stanley as Gene Simmons:

"We have no plans to record a new album. The reason is that fans of every classic touring band don't really want to hear new material. They go to concerts for the same old songs".
Who goes to see the Stones to hear their new song? Why go to a McCartney or The Who concert? Who spends their money on a classic band event just to hear new material?".

So… will there really be a new Kiss job for 2009?
