The Weinstein Company production company has presented the official trailer for the film «Killing Them Softly»(Killing them Gently), starring Brad Pitt, Richard Jenkins, James Gandolfini, Sam Shepard and Scoot McNairy. In the story, Jackie Cogan (Brad Pitt) is a bully, and when mob rules are broken, he is called in to solve the problem.
Calculating, ruthless, serious, and with a keen sense of other people's weaknesses, Cogan pours his trade, moving through a wide variety of neighborhoods, parasites, and people with power, to find those responsible and return "order" to the underworld. Boston lawless.
The film is directed by Andrew Dominik, who returns to work with Pitt after "The Assassination of Jesse James" and its US theatrical release will be on September 21. It already premiered at this year's Cannes Film Festival.
