The Killers release unreleased tracks featured on 'Direct Hits'

After weeks of rumors circulating on the networks, finally the American group The Killers confirmed the publication of his first compilation album, which will be released under the name of 'Direct Hits'. The compilation, in addition to featuring fifteen of the Las Vegas band's biggest hits, will also include two previously unreleased songs. The first of these new tracks is 'Shot at the Night', a single produced by Frenchman Anthony Gonzalez of M83, available on iTunes with an album pre-order.

The second single included is titled 'Just another girl', produced by the successful Stuart Price (Madonna, Kylie, Keane, Scissor Sisters), who has already collaborated with The Killers in the production of his third studio album, 'Day & Age' (2008). The edition of this compilation album coincides with the 10th anniversary of the international debut of the American quartet, which celebrates its first concert outside the United States, held in London (United Kingdom) in September 2003.

The band's record label, Island Record, also announced that the release of 'Direct Hits' will feature a special edition, which will include the deluxe CD, a documentary video on DVD of The Killers' career and five 10 ”vinyls with all the songs from this' Direct Hits'. The deluxe edition will also include other exclusive rarities, such as an original demo of 'Mr. Brightside 'and a new remix of' When You Were Young 'by rising Calvin Harris, plus a remix of' Be Still '. 'Direct Hits' will go on sale from next November 11.
