The new brothers movie Andy and Lana Wachowski "Jupiter Ascending" won't finally hit theaters until February 2015.
It was scheduled to premiere on July 18 of this year but the film will finally be released on February 6, which means almost seven months late.
The reasons for this long delay of "Jupiter Ascending" that has been carried out are not officially known. Warner Bros, but something may have to do with Wachowski they shot a few additional scenes in May and this may have caused post production to drag on longer than anticipated.
The directors of the saga «Matrix»They were shooting new scenes for the film last May in Bilbao, specifically at the Guggenheim Museum.
If the film finally opens on this new date, February 6, 2015, and as long as there is no academic preview before the end of the year, «J»Would be left out of the next Oscars. Doesn't seem like a great contender to the Academy Awards but it could have quite a few chances in the technical categories.
"The Matrix" won up to four technical awards at the Oscar 1999, although since then they have not returned to the gala with their subsequent films and now it does not seem that "Jupiter Ascending" is going to make them return.
