Director John Woo returns to Hollywood with the adaptation of the game Ninja Gold, which he will turn into a film with the same name. Although they will surely modify it while waiting to look for other more blockbuster and more popular alternatives.

The Fox subsidiary, Fox Atomic, will be the distributor that puts this film on our screens. Fox Atomic is known by all as the Fox subsidiary that is dedicated to the distribution of B movies so to speak, mainly horror and science fiction. The production company that will be in charge of the film will be Lion Rock Productions, curiously owned by John Woo.

The story is not very original, the truth, since it tells how a ninja warrior, descendant of a hundred-year-old lineage, must confront a covert war in the present. From there they will have to make some adjustments to the plot to turn this beginning of a synopsis so seen already in the history of cinema, into something worthy of being projected on the screens.
