The historical drama «John rabe»Will premiere in May and features performances by Ulrich tukur (The White Ribbon), Steve Buscemi y Daniel Bruhl (Inglourious Basterds). We already have the trailer.
The film tells the story of John Raven, a German businessman who saved more than 200.000 Chinese using his party contacts Nazi during the massacre of Nanking Committed by the Japanese army, an ally of Nazi Germany, after the Battle of Nanking in 1937.
It is based on Rabe's own diaries and was seen at the 2009 Berín Film Festival. It was directed by Florian Gallenberger and its premiere is on May 21.
