Jean-Michel Jarre returns eight years later

Jean-Michel Jarre

After eight eternal years of silence, Jean-Michel Jarre published on March 16 on his Twitter channel an image in which the message was read "A new album is on the horizon" ("A new album is on the horizon"). After the brief and long-awaited message, the details of this new work by the Frenchman have been arriving by dropper, a new album of which neither the title nor the date of its publication is known.

One of the confirmations, made by Sony Music Germany, on the new work of Jean-Michel Jarre is 'Glory', a collaboration with synth-pop band M83 for David Brodie's documentary 'Emic, A time capsule of the people of Earth', inspired by the movie 'Interstellar'. 'Glory' is in pre-sale on iTunes and the release date is expected to be on May 18, an unconfirmed date.

Last Friday (April 17) a new Jarre single was released by surprise on Beatport, 'Conqueror', this time in collaboration with the French musician, DJ and producer Gesaffelstein. This single contains the original version of the song 'Conquistador' along with two remixes.
