Jason Reitman to adapt Joyce Maynard's novel Labor day

Jason Reitman

Labor day, the book written by Joyce Maynard, appeared a few months ago in bookstores in the United States but already has caught the attention of Jason Reitman, who is determined to bring the story to the big screen.

According to the morning report USA Today, the man who surprised a couple of years ago with Juno, is currently working on the film adaptation.

The plot dthe book tells of the days of a lonely 13-year-old boy named Henry, who spends his time watching television and thinking about his classmates. Henry's life will change when he meets a mysterious man, who will help him and teach him some valuable life lessons.

Without a doubt it is another story so that Reitmann looks, just as he did Juno, and confirms his talent as a director. Hopefully he doesn't lose the freshness of his previous works and achieves another great film.
