The actor who rose to fame by giving life to Billy Elliot, will play the famous comic book character created by the master Hergé. Steven Spielberg chose it for the adaptation that will make of the intrepid reporter who traveled the world, in search of adventure.
JamieBell, In addition to acting in the award-winning European film, he has been seen in recent years in films such as King Kong and Jumper, in minor roles. On this occasion, he will return to the leading role, sharing the bill with the current James Bond Daniel Craig, who will be the villain on duty, the Pirate Rackham the Red.
The studies Paramount Pictures and Sony Pictures announced the incorporation of Bell and Craig, at the same time that they released the title of the first film: 'The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn ' (The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn), based on the comic with the same name that appeared in June 1942.

This first installment of the popular character created in 1929 by Georges remi (Hergé) will be directed and produced by Spielberg; and the second part would be directed Peter Jackson. The project has already started and its premiere is scheduled for 2011.
