James Blunt to launch new 'Moon Landing' in October

This week Atlantic Records announced the release of the new album by James Blunt, his fourth studio album, which will be named after 'Moon Landing' and that will go on sale next October 22. It was also anticipated that the new album will be produced by the renowned Tom Rothrock (Beck, Moby and Foo Fighters, among others) the same one who produced his first album almost ten years ago, the multiplatinum 'Back To Bedlam'. Also this new album has been co-produced by Martin Terefe (KT Tunstall, Martha Wainwright).

In the press release of Atlantic Records, Blunt himself commented on the new work: "On this album Tom (Rothrock) brought his talent to my songs incorporating a more powerful, organic and direct sound, characteristics that give new ingredients to this work compared to the previous ones, all this without losing my personal stamp". Blunt also added: «This is a much more personal album, a return to the roots. It's something about me and Tom, to meet again where our story began and where we are now ».

Since their debut album 'Back To Bedlam' In October 2004, Blunt became one of the most successful British singers of the decade, charting four songs at number one globally and reaching a total of seventeen million albums sold worldwide.
