In a few weeks 'Nostalgia' will be Annie Lennox's return album

Annie Lennox Nostalgia

British singer Annie Lennox will return to the music scene with his first (non-Christmas) album in seven years, a new work that will include a select collection of classic American soloists, mainly outstanding jazz works from the 1930s and 1940s, and which were performed by icons of music like Billie Holiday, Nina Simone, Jo Stafford or Louis Armstrong.

This collection of jazz classics that will bear the title of 'Nostalgia', has been produced by one of the traditional producers of the British singer, Mike Stevens, and will be released initially on vinyl (only for three weeks) on September 30 and later on CD and digital on October 21.

In recent days Lennox declared to the American press that she is very excited about this project and commented on it: «This album it was born of my curiosity As to whether my vocal range was adequate for this style of song, it has somehow represented a kind of personal challenge. It has also been a way to get to know these wonderful artists more closely and get in touch with them musically. I have had a lot of fun while I have been working on this project ».
