Here we have a first preview of "il giovane favoloso", a film that will fight to win León de Oro in this new edition of the Venice Film Festival.
"Il giovane favoloso" is the new film by the Italian Mario Martone, who was already present at the European competition now more than 20 years ago.
Mario Martone's debut feature "Death of a Neapolitan mathematician" was present in the official section of the Venice Film Festival in 1992 where he also got the Special Jury Prize.
Now he comes once again to the Venetian Lido to fight for the Golden Lion once more with "Il giovane favoloso", a film starring Elio Germano, whom we saw not long ago in "Diaz: don't clean this blood."
They accompany him in the cast Michele Riondino whom we will see shortly in the new film by the Taviani brothers "Maraviglioso Boccaccio" and Anna mouglialis who starred this past year in "La jalousie" by Philippe Garrel.
