Hong Sang-soo wins Golden Leopard at Locarno Film Festival 2015

Golden Leopard Hong Sang-soo

The famous South Korean director Hong Sang-soo wins the Golden Leopard for best film at the 2015 Locarno Film Festival for his new film 'Right Now, Wrong Then'.

This has not been the only award that Hong Sang-soo's new film receives, as Jung Jae-young wins the title of best actor of the contest for this same film.

The record of the official section has been dominated by Asian cinema, since another of the big winners has been the Japanese film 'Happy Hour' that has earned him the award of best actress to its four leads, Tanaka Sachie, Kikuchi Hazuki, Mihara Maiko and Kawamura Rira and special mention for the script.

The Israeli tape Avishai Sivan's 'Tikkun' Wins Special Jury Prize and a special mention for his photography, Whereas the Best Director award went to Andrzej Zulawski for the co-production between France and Portugal 'Cosmos'.

Spanish cinema has also won an award in this edition of the Locarno Festival, Mauro Herce from Barcelona wins the Special Jury Prize in the Filmmakers of the Present section for his film 'Dead Slow Ahead'.
